Privacy Notice

Otherme is operated from the United Arab Emirates. This notice is written for UAE law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL). It is not a US or EU template copied from another app.

Who we are

The data controller is the operator of Otherme, based in the United Arab Emirates. Contact: privacy@otherme.app — replace this with a real mailbox before any public Play listing.

What we process

• The photo you upload, so we can generate a result.
• A device identifier, so the first free result can be counted.
• Optional reports you send about an output.
• Purchase records if you buy a pack through Google Play.

Why

We process this to provide the service you asked for (image generation), to keep the product safe, and to meet Play disclosure rules. Legal basis under PDPL: your request for the service, and our legitimate need to run and secure it.

Processors outside the UAE

Generation currently runs through a third-party inference provider. The photo leaves our server only to that provider to produce your result. If we change providers, this page will name them. We do not sell your photos.

How long

We do not build a public gallery of your face. Uploads are used to generate and then discarded on our side as soon as practical. Provider caches may last a short period under their terms.

Your rights

You may ask for access, correction, erasure, or to restrict processing, and you may complain to the UAE Data Office. Use Settings in the app, or email us.

Children

Otherme is not directed at children under 13. Do not upload photos of minors.
